Campaign Advisor

It's vital for us to have LGBTQ+ representation at Her Game Too! Visibility matters and if any followers of the campaign gets in touch with us wishing to chat about their negative experiences in football then they will be fully aware that HGT is a safe space for all.

I think it's important for this campaign to be a place of support and comfort for everybody who feels unwelcome or discriminated against at football. LGBTQ+ representation and diversity among the campaign members will hopefully help to show that we are here for everybody - regardless of gender identity & sexual orientation.
Fulham Ambassador
Amelia Armstrong (she/her)
Representation in the campaign is so important as it shows people that football is a game for all, and that everyone should be able to express their identity freely.
Warwickshire CCC Ambassador

Sport can be an incredible vehicle to drive change in the wider world and I think the Her Game Too campaign is an incredible opportunity and platform to increase LGBTQIA+ representation in sport and be a place where open discussions about inclusivity in sport can take place. Sport is for everyone and should be a place where people can be open about themselves.
Norwich City Ambassador
Jess Pye (she/her)
I think it's important to represent LGBTQ+ people in our campaign, as homophobic and transphobic abuse are a massive reason why LGBTQ+ people don't go to football, in the same way that sexism is a huge reason for women not to go as well. And for me, being trans, it's really good to see a feminist group being intersectional; representing all women, especially in a time like this when trans rights are under attack.
Aston Villa WFC Ambassador

Her Game Too is an inclusive campaign and it's vital that we can forge positive change and ensure football is a welcoming and inclusive environment for all fans. I am proud to part of the visibility and representation so many other fans of football need.
