HER GAME TOO ANNOUNCE FIRST HOTEL PARTNERSHIP

By Faye Hackwell

Her Game Too is excited to announce its first hotel partnership with Holiday Inn in

Manchester.

The city centre hotel will promote itself as a safe and welcoming place for women to enjoy

watching sports and display the Her Game Too logo throughout communal areas to show its

commitment to inclusivity.

With the Women’s World Cup getting underway this week, the hotel, in Aytoun Street

opposite Manchester Piccadilly Station, will be showing some of the matches on its big screens to champion the female game.

Priya Guru is Her Game Too’s Manchester United Ambassador and a meeting and sales

executive at the Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre, which is a favourite with football fans

visiting the area for matches.

She said: “We are always fully booked when either Manchester United or Manchester City

are playing at home, so this is the perfect hotel and perfect location to help make a change

as the first Her Game Too partner hotel.

“We plan to create offers within different areas of the hotel for when we are showing

women’s games, and even some of the men’s games, and promote these on our social

media channels to showcase the fact we provide a safe environment for any fan to watch

any game.

“The Her Game Too logo will be displayed in all public areas to promote the fact we are an

inclusive hotel and proud to be partnered with a successful campaign like Her Game Too.

“We have very strong relationships within the sporting world already - most notably being the home base hotel for the Great Britain Women’s Basketball Team - and we would like to be able to drive women’s sports even further through being partnered with Her Game Too.”

Although the branch of hotel is independently owned, Priya hopes other hotels in the Holiday Inn group may follow in their footsteps after seeing what the partnership can achieve.
