I've been a football fan for as long as I can remember, thanks to my Dad taking me to my first Grays Athletic game at age 9 and involving me in checking the pools while watching Final Score on Saturday evenings. A change of job several years ago allowed me to step up my commitment to attending games, and I am now a regular at both home and away matches.

Grays Athletic partnered with Her Game Too in 2022, and I joined as an Ambassador in 2023. In my first season as an ambassador, the club showed their support by hosting a dedicated fixture against Redbridge FC to highlight our campaign. In the lead-up to the fixture, the club's socials featured words of support from several players. On the day of the fixture, we hosted all the females involved with the club, including several girls' and womens' teams, the matchday photographer, and the club secretary.

In the coming season, the club will hold another dedicated fixture, and we will start offering free sanitary products in the women's toilets, maintained by myself as the ambassador. My goal is to continue building strong and positive relationships with my club and its supporters, as well as with other non-league clubs where we need to partner.
