Alice has been a football fan for as long as she can remember; largely thanks to her mum who she hid behind the sofa with when Argentina v England went to penalties at France ‘98.

She then followed in her mum’s footsteps becoming a Brighton and Hove Albion fan, and has been a season ticket since finishing university and BHAFC moving into the Amex in 2011.

Given it was her mum who got her into football, and having played and coached when she was younger, it is unsurprising that Alice has always championed for equality in the sport.

Alice became the BHAFC ambassador in March 2024 and the club partnership was announced to coincide with International Women’s Day 2024. It is still early stages in the partnership, but the club are committed to the HGT cause with many events upcoming, including the clubs first dedicated HGT fixture.
