AFC Bournemouth: Welcome

Ambassador
Becky Adams

IMG_4649.jpg

Becky Adams’ love for football began in her teenage years, when at 15, she had the unforgettable experience of being a matchday mascot. Recently, while watching old footage of that day, she was shocked to notice the subtle mockery of her by men in the background—an eye-opening reminder of the sexism that once pervaded the sport.

Now, Becky is passionate about championing inclusivity in football. As Brackley Town’s Her Game Too Ambassador, she is committed to promoting gender equality and ensuring a welcoming environment for female fans, players, and officials alike. With strong ties to the club, dating back over four decades, Becky’s dedication to football is rooted in both personal and community pride.

As a proud mother of a Brackley Town Ladies player, Becky is determined to create a positive and supportive football experience for the next generation. Her vision is to see Her Game Too grow in the same way as campaigns like Kick It Out, with the goal of eradicating sexism from the game.
