Clare is the Her Game Too ambassador for Blackpool FC and has been a season ticket holder for over 10 years.

In 2023, Clare spoke to the club about setting up a women’s fan group. This has progressed and she is now the chair of The Shesiders - ‘a safe space for all female fans to come together to both celebrate the team they love, and work towards implementing change so Blackpool FC is an even more welcoming and inclusive place for all fans’.

She first got introduced to Blackpool FC as a child by her Grandad who had been attending matches since the early 1950s. The club will always hold a special place in Clare’s heart after they were so supportive after her Grandad’s passing at a match in 2012.

Beyond football, Clare continues her passionate work on inclusion and women’s safety as a lead member of Reclaim Blackpool Women’s Group, often working on projects around the town. She is also passionate about dogs, both working with them and fundraising for her local dog rescue. Her two dogs are, of course, Her Game Too suppawtors!
